Well done to the Mini 7's Boy's Football Team who yesterday reached the County Semi Final. The boys qualified to this competition by winning their first round group a couple of weeks ago with some excellent performances.
Yesterday, they were competing in a group with Trinity Primary School, Annaghdown NS and Mountbellew NS. The boys played superbly and won all three of their games which put them top of their group and into a Semi Final. Here, they faced a very good Milltown team and unfortunately the lads were defeated.
We are extremely proud of their sporting performances but also proud of how well they represented the school in both competitions. To reach the last four of this competition is an amazing achievement.
We look forward to more football competitions later in this school year!
