Busy In Our New School...

It was with great excitement on Monday 25th February 2019 that we welcomed children into their new school for the first time. The excitement was immense from all children, they were thrilled to be finally entering their new school, as were staff, parents and our whole community. Sincere thank you to everyone who has sent us their good wishes!

Children were met at the gate and shown in by staff where we had our first general assembly, all children were eager to get to their classrooms for the first time and have a look around the new building. All classes were given a tour of the school by their teachers and over the first few days everyone enjoyed PE in our fantastic new hall.

Huge thanks is due to all staff for the effort and extra hours put in. Thank you also to Atilla and Pat Loftus' team who were very helpful during the move.

Thank you to our Board of Management and Fundraising Committee for their continued help and support.

Our first few weeks have been extremely exciting especially when there has been so much going on for our classes ... Engineers Week saw a visit from Bricks4kids for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class, we celebrated World Book Day and we had our annual Talent Show organised by our fantastic Students Council.

Talent Show: We were once again amazed by the creativity, imagination, originality and just sheer talent and confidence of the children in our school. We had dancers, singers, musicians, actors and actresses, a karate display, a lego demonstration, fashion advice from 6th class, jokes and magic tricks...even a peppa pig impersonation and of course the ever popular George Ezra's 'Shotgun' and 'Baby Shark' (to name but a few!) Well done to each and every performer and in particular to our Students Council (& Mrs Doheny) for all their work behind the scenes. Lots more photos on our school news section...

Well done to everyone for the effort that went into World Book Day costumes!
