The day finally arrived that all at Monivea eagerly awaited. All the girls and boys and adults could not contain their excitement!!! Santa hats, antlers and Christmas jumpers came flooding into school Friday morning. The children did their 3km and 5km laps around the school and completed their day with movies, popcorn and treats!! Our day was completed with a visit from the main man himself. He spoke from his sleigh advising the girls and boys to be on their best behaviour for the next few weeks and we sang 'Jingle Bells' for him!!
Thank you most sincerely to all the children, parents and staff of Scoil Mhuire for the generosity, kindness and support given to the school, to make this a memorable and enjoyable day for all.
