March 1st marked a wonderful day in the calendar of Monivea NS. We celebrated a mass for all our Grandparents and Special people in our children's lives. Fr. Ronnie delivered a beautiful heartfelt mass and we prayed for all those who could not be with us on the day. Mrs. Geoghegan opened the mass with a welcome speech and the children played an active role throughout the mass and entertained our guests with music, dancing and songs. They truely enjoyed having their families with them in school and many children recounted memories of their Grandparents during the mass. Everyone was welcomed to refreshments and a wander around the school to visit their child's class. It was a very special day for all. Families travelled from all over the country to attend the special day.
We are extremely grateful and delighted to have met them all, and look forward to meeting them again in the future.
